Mayor JM Unánue continues to support those most in need with functional devices / @_BocadelRio >>>

#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- In an emotional ceremony, the mayor of Boca del Río, Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, together with the president of the Municipal DIF; Melina Rivera de Unánue, led the delivery of more than 70 functional devices to citizens in vulnerable situations.

This delivery included wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes and other supports to improve the mobility and quality of life of the beneficiaries.

During the event, held at the municipal DIF facilities, the municipal president stressed the importance of continuing to work as a team to ensure that all citizens of Boca del Río have access to a more dignified life.

This action is part of the commitment of the current administration with the most vulnerable sectors of the municipality and other agencies.

“We see the happy people who are going to receive this support, an orthopedic device, a normal or special wheelchair, which is normally difficult for us to acquire because of the economic situation and that is what we work for here at DIF,” said the mayor.

Melina Rivera de Unánue; president of the municipal DIF, thanked the joint effort between the local and state government, as well as the entire team of DIF Boca del Río, and reaffirmed the commitment to continue with this type of actions that seek to improve the quality of life of people with special needs.
