#GobiernoDeMéxico.- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador delivered property titles to residents of the Colosio neighborhood in the municipality of Solidaridad, Quintana Roo. “The delivery of the titles was a commitment (…) Since 2022 we wanted to make this regularization of Colosio a reality, I have known the problem for a long time, it was always a demand because having a piece of paper, a deed, gives a lot of peace of mind. A round of applause for all of you. It is a matter for the whole family,” he said.

The governor said that it was possible to fulfill this commitment thanks to the collaboration with the state government headed by Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa.

The Secretary of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development, Román Meyer Falcón, said that during the current administration, more than 80 thousand families were regularized nationwide, of which 1,600 were present at today’s event.

In this government, priority was given to territorial organization. Throughout the country, more than 300 instruments were promoted, of which five are already in the Public Registry of Property, he pointed out.

In the back esplanade of the Playa del Carmen station of the Mayan Train, President López Obrador informed that today’s event is part of the social justice actions of the Government of the Fourth Transformation for the southeast of the country, which was left behind during decades of neoliberal governments.
