#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- The Municipal President of Atizapán de Zaragoza, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, kicked off the drilling, development and gauging works of the Cedros Well, on Paseo Valle Escondido Avenue, in the town of Calacoaya.
This is a work for which a geophysical and geohydraulic study will be carried out for groundwater exploration.
Afterwards, drilling will continue to a depth of 300 meters, in addition to the electromechanical equipment.
According to the technical specifications of the work, this well will have a storage tank, conduction line, chlorination house, control equipment and electrical connection.

It is expected that with this work the neighbors of the area will have a greater water supply, and thus lessen the effects currently caused by the cutback of the amount of liquid by the National Water Commission (Conagua) through the Cutzamala System and the lack of rainfall in the regions where the dams that supply it are located.
Recently, Mayor Rodríguez Villegas also attended the inauguration of the drilling, development and gauging works of the Villas de la Hacienda well, on Cuautitlán Izcalli Boulevard, almost at the corner of Lago de Guadalupe highway, in Villas de la Hacienda.
According to data from Servicios de Agua Potable, Alcantarillado y Saneamiento de Atizapán de Zaragoza (SAPASA), the water supply has gone from 1,280 liters per second in 2020 to 350 liters per second to date.
