CMN “20 de Noviembre” of the Issste obtains ISO 9001:2015 quality certification / @BerthaAlcalde @ISSSTE_mx >>>

#ISSSTE.- The Centro Médico Nacional (CMN) “20 de Noviembre” of the Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (Issste) obtained certification in Quality Management Systems NMX-CC-9001-IMNC-2015/ISO 9001:2015, for the hospital pharmacy services and Coordination of Financial Resources and Accounting.

The director of the institute’s flagship hospital, Lecsy Macedo Calvillo, reported that the certification aimed at administrative services is a novelty, as regularly only the hospital care area is reviewed.

“We are very proud to share that eight items have been recertified and two more have been integrated. This quality management allows the processes to be carried out along the same lines, and to benefit the beneficiaries”.

The eight recertified services were: clinical analysis laboratories, special tests, critical areas and special hematology; blood bank, physical medicine and rehabilitation, pathological anatomy and hematology, and outpatient services.

The representative of the Quality Management System of CMN “20 de Noviembre”, Guadalupe Reséndiz García, explained that this norm is an international standard with certifiable character, which constitutes an endorsement and recognition of worldwide scope. It also encourages continuous improvement and promotes trust for the benefit of patients and their families.
