Governor Delfina Gómez leads parade for the CCXIV Anniversary of Mexico’s Independence Day / @Edomex >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez Álvarez led the military civic parade on the occasion of the CCXIV Anniversary of the Independence of Mexico.

Prior to the start of the parade, Delfina Gómez Álvarez asked those present to observe a minute of silence in memory of the people who lost their lives in the community of San Luis Ayucan, Jilotzingo, after a landslide caused by the rains registered last Friday, September 13.

“Good morning to all of you, I respectfully ask those present to observe a minute of silence in memory of our Mexican brothers and sisters from the municipality of Jilotzingo, who died as a result of the heavy rains of the last few days, to their families and friends, all our solidarity,” said Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez.

Later, from the central balcony of the Government Palace, she witnessed the passing of 29 contingents with the participation of a monumental flag, two flags of war, 4,915 troops, 171 vehicles, five floats, 90 horses and 44 dogs, according to the information provided by Infantry Colonel Alejandro López Ayón.
