Mexican Government inaugurates new facilities for Upiip Palenque: SEP / @Letamaya @SEP_mx >>>

#SEP.- With an investment of 862.6 million pesos, the Mexican Government inaugurated the new facilities of the Interdisciplinary Professional Unit in Engineering and Advanced Technologies (Upiip) Palenque, for more than 3,500 students from the southeast of the country.

During the commemoration of the bicentennial of the annexation of Chiapas to Mexico, and the supervision of federal priority projects led by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, accompanied by President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, IPN Director General Arturo Reyes Sandoval said that Mexicans are moving forward in this administration by sharing the vision of a country where well-being and dignity is for everyone.

“Thank you Mr. President for continuing with the Cardenista dream of making social justice effective and the dignification of the most forgotten through polytechnic education.”

He highlighted and thanked the Secretary of Public Education, Leticia Ramírez Amaya, as the driving force behind this great educational project, and recalled that these works contribute to building the new nation we want and are a symbol of the determination to improve the quality of life in the region and restore the dignity of communities whose cultural wealth has remained resplendent.

Here, he said, “the transformation of lives, the construction of a more just future and the consolidation of the best scientific and technological education at the service of the people will be embodied”.

He stressed that for the IPN it has been an honor to contribute to the new foundations of a more just and egalitarian nation, the Mexico of the Fourth Transformation.
