Rehabilitation of piped water network begins in Atizapán de Zaragoza / @Pedro_RVillegas @GobAtizapan >>>

#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- The Municipal President of Atizapán de Zaragoza, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, kicked off the rehabilitation of the piped water system from the Luis Donaldo Colosio tank to Avenida Jalisco – Avenida Central, Colonia Ex Hacienda El Pedregal.

This work represents a joint effort to strengthen the infrastructure of Atizapán de Zaragoza and improve the quality of life of its neighbors.

According to the Mayor, this work is being carried out thanks to a good administration of public resources.

“We have been able to support the people of Atizapán without putting the municipality in debt, that is the most important thing,” said Rodríguez Villegas.

In addition, the water network is a fundamental part of urban planning, the installation of new conduits and the modernization of structures that will improve the system’s capacity to manage water.

The works will be carried out over a length of 412 linear meters, where the existing pavement will be cut and demolished to make way for open-cast excavation at a depth of 1 to 2 meters.

Subsequently, the supply and placement of ductile iron pipe will be done and the construction of the valve operation box for drinking water lines and the replacement of the pavement will continue.

In order to improve and optimize the water supply in the municipality, the Atizapan government is taking long-term measures, such as the construction of storage tanks and the drilling of new wells.
