More than 400 Artisan Roads built with a goal of 3,844 kilometers: Nuño Lara / @jorgenunol @SICT_mx >>>

#SICT.- Celebrating the delivery of artisan roads in Oaxaca, the Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), Jorge Nuño Lara, stated that this program had a goal of 411 roads, 3 thousand 844 kilometers (km) and an investment of 17 thousand 800 million pesos (mdp).

During the Delivery and Evaluation of the Artisan Roads Program, headed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and President-elect, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the head of the SICT stated:

“What we deliver today is more than infrastructure, it is social justice and dignity for the people. Each section built carries the effort of Mexican hands that value the land and the union of communities.”

He emphasized that these works have transformed the daily lives of the inhabitants, reducing the average travel time for many people by an average of 3 hours, facilitating access to essential services.

He indicated that this program, which was born in the state of Oaxaca and announced by the President on December 22, 2018, has been replicated in 9 more states (Guerrero, Veracruz, Sonora, Nayarit, Durango, Chihuahua, Tlaxcala, Puebla and Hidalgo).
