El Aeropuerto Internacional de Acapulco abre vuelos humanitarios y oficiales: SICT / @SICTmx >>> 

#SICT.- The Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) informs that, as of this Monday, the Acapulco International Airport opened its operation for humanitarian and official flights, with the objective of supporting the population affected by Hurricane John in Guerrero.

The Control Tower, Navigation Systems, air meteorological equipment and radar are operating, except for damaged local screens.

With regard to the Federal Highway Network, 1,023 incidents have been recorded, of which 407 have already been resolved and 616 are in the process of being resolved. 15 roads are completely closed and 165 are partially closed.

Guerrero

105 stretches of the Federal Network of Free Roads that were affected in some way (landslides, drainage failures, overflows) were attended to.

Of the total number of road sections with incidents in the region of Guerrero, 95 have already been attended to and are now passable, while 10 are totally closed to traffic.

There are total closures in the following road sections:

MEX 200D Libramiento Tecpan Highway (river flooding) Km 101+574 to 105+943.
Chilpancingo -Acapulco Km 30+900 (drainage work failure).
Federal Highway Chilpancingo-Acapulco Section: Chilpancingo-Acapulco Km 180+000 (embankment cut due to flooding of the Balsas River tributary).
Acapulco – Zihuatanejo km 38+000 – Federal Highway 93 Chilpancingo-Acatlán de Osorio Km 169+000 (scouring in access of exit of the bridge “Tlapaneco I”).
Acapulco – Pinotepa Nacional Highway Section: Lim. Edos. Gro./Oax. Km 38+000.
Chilpancingo-Acapulco Highway. Bridge “Ing. Alfredo Mendizábal” km. 114+490 (settlement at the entrance access).
Federal Highway Iguala – Chilpancingo Section: Iguala – Chilpancingo Km. 184+900 (overflowing of riverbed).
Chilpancingo-Acapulco Highway. km. 30+900 (failure due to drainage work).
