#GobiernoDeMéxico.- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said goodbye to the people of Mexico at the end of the 2018-2024 federal administration on Monday, September 30.
On social networks he expressed, “The people of Mexico are loving, the best in the world. Thank you very much and see you forever.”
The chief executive accompanied the publication with a video showing images of different moments of closeness with the people during the Government of the Fourth Transformation, as well as priority projects, including the Mayan Train, the Inter-Oceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, the Felipe Angeles International Airport, the Olmeca Refinery, El Insurgente Train and the Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport.
“Grateful to all the people of Mexico for their trust, for their support, for their backing, for their respect. Never forget: ‘with the people everything, without the people nothing’,” he said.
He also presents stellar episodes in his administration, such as the 85th Anniversary of the Oil Expropriation, the 5 years of the democratic triumph for the transformation of Mexico, the visits to the original towns and the 214th Anniversary of the Cry of Independence.
The President said that his work in politics began at the side of the indigenous communities; at that time he learned to work for the most vulnerable people, whom he prioritized at all times during the government he represented, which reduced poverty and inequality in a historic way in the country.
The Fourth Transformation, he recalled, was necessary to change the neoliberal regime and had the participation of millions of women and men.
