SICT deployed equipment to attend to various stretches of road affected by John / @jorgenunol @SICT_mx >>>
#SICT.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) informs that the remnants of Hurricane John affected the Federal Highway Network, which registered 1,023 incidents in the states of Guerrero, Jalisco, State of Mexico, Michoacan, Oaxaca, and Queretaro.
In order to make way as soon as possible to the roads, the SICT Centers deployed technical personnel and workers, as well as machinery including excavators, loaders and trucks.
The agency indicated that 407 damages have been resolved and 616 are in the process of being attended to. It is expected that the Carapan-Playa Azul, Cuatro Caminos-Arteaga Km. 160+512, Puente Cuate II highway in the state of Michoacán will be fully reestablished today.
Meanwhile, the alternate route to avoid this stretch is the Siglo XXI Highway on the Patzcuaro-Lázaro Cárdenas Highway Section: Cuatro Caminos-Arteaga Route: 37D.

Méx. 200D Highway Libramiento Técpan (river flooding) Km. 101+574 to 105+943.
Chilpancingo-Acapulco Km. 30+900 (failure in drainage work).
Federal Highway Chilpancingo-Acapulco Section: Chilpancingo-Acapulco Km. 180+000 (embankment cut due to flooding of a river tributary of the Balsas River).
Acapulco-Zihuatanejo Km. 38+000 Federal Highway 93 Chilpancingo-Acatlán de Osorio Km. 169+000 (scour at the exit access to the “Tlapaneco I” bridge).
Acapulco-Pinotepa Nacional Highway Section: Lim. Edos. Gro/Oax. Km. 38+000.
Chilpancingo-Acapulco Highway. Alfredo Mendizábal” Bridge Km. 114+490 (settlement at the entrance access).
Federal Highway Iguala-Chilpancingo Section: Iguala-Chilpancingo Km. 184+900 (overflowing of riverbed).
Chilpancingo-Acapulco Highway Km. 30+900 (failure due to drainage work).
