#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- The Mayor of Atizapán de Zaragoza, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, delivered 6 study rooms to the student community of the Professor Raúl Isidro Burgos Elementary School, located in the Margarita Maza neighborhood of Juárez. In this institution, a Digital Classroom was also installed, 59 lights were placed in various areas, in addition to the construction of a ramp and access stairs for greater safety of girls and boys.

The enthusiasm of the students to occupy their new facilities caused a line of around 70 girls and boys who asked the Municipal President for his autograph and a souvenir photograph. The 5th Grade student, Mía Jimena Flores Colunga, reflected this joy in a message addressed to the Mayor of Atizapán, in which she said that they now had adequate spaces to learn and grow in a better way.

“Education is the basis of our future and these classrooms are not only a place where we come to study, but a space where we cultivate our dreams and aspirations. With your help we are building a brighter future for all of us. Thank you for your attention and your commitment to our school and our community. Together we can do great things,” said student Mía Jimena.

In light of this, the Mayor said that one of his main commitments as Mayor is to promote and collaborate with the best educational achievement throughout the municipality with better support and tools that contribute to the development of children.

“Many times we covet a position, but sometimes we do not value the importance of being in it, and everything that can be achieved when you have the will and the desire and above all when you know how to manage and put it at the service of girls and boys, of the students to have good men and women,” said Rodríguez Villegas.

Shortly before unveiling the plaques for both the work of the classrooms, as well as the Digital Classroom that had been installed previously, the Director of the Raúl Isidro Burgos Elementary School, Édgar René Aguilar Lora; the Head of the Educational Sector No. 5, Verónica Álvarez Manilla García and Onaí Pérez Reveles, who attended on behalf of the General Secretary of the Executive Committee of Section 36 of the SNTE, Rigoberto Vargas Cervantes, agreed in classifying the Mayor as a friend and ally of education.
