SICT prepared in five states of the country for the effects of Hurricane Milton / @SICT_mx >>>
#SICT.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation informs that the SICT Centers in Campeche, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Quintana Roo and Yucatan are prepared with personnel, machinery, vehicles and camps in response to the effects of Hurricane Milton on highways in these regions, in order to attend to them and reestablish circulation as soon as possible.
In addition, the SICT reports that as a result of the remnants of Hurricane John, which had an impact on the Federal Highway Network, 1,023 incidents have been recorded on various stretches of road in the states of Guerrero, Jalisco, State of Mexico, Michoacán, Oaxaca and Querétaro.

The toll-free Federal Network has 190 incidents in 570 km, of which 18 are total road closures, 4 bridges collapsed, 10 road stretches due to landslides and 4 stretches due to drainage works failure.
For the attention of immediate partial actions, an investment of approximately 400 million pesos is required, of which 190 million pesos are for road rehabilitation, 210 million pesos for 4 bridges.
Up to 300 million pesos are required for the reconstruction and stabilization of slopes, embankments and pavement replacement.
In the Mexico-Acapulco Toll Road Network, a landslide has been identified at Km. 250+000, but it does not impede free transit.
The total length of the Rural Roads and Feeder Roads Network in the state of Guerrero is 18,612 km, of which 250 roads have been identified that are affected for a length of 3,000 km.
