Pedro Rodríguez delivers roof arch at Atizapan Zaragoza university / @Pedro_RVillegas @GobAtizapan >>>

#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- For almost three years, support for education in the Municipality of Atizapán de Zaragoza has been constant. The Municipal President, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, has taken on the task of renovating facilities such as roofs, sanitary facilities, delivering more than 30 thousand scholarships, adapting 100 Digital Classrooms and building new classrooms.

On this occasion, one of these benefits was given to the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional (UPN) Unit 152 Atizapán de Zaragoza, located in Calacoaya, a campus where an arched roof was built that will benefit more than 400 students. A basketball court was also refurbished and 20 buckets of paint were delivered as part of the Dando Color a tu Escuela (Giving Color to your School) program.

Accompanied by trustees and aldermen, the Mayor reiterated that one of the main axes of his government has been the support to Education to form generations of students committed to Atizapán and that in the future they will be the ones who will lead the destinies of the town.

“This Administration is committed to transcend, transcend with actions, leave a mark in our path and this is something with which we will transcend, generations will pass and remember that it was a work of a committed government that knew how to reach and support education. We have worked together with the City Council, we have worked these two years and ten months to transform our municipality,” reiterated Rodriguez Villegas.

Before the university community, the Director of UPN Unit 152 Atizapán, Filiberto Rivera Tecorral, highlighted that the Mayor has always had time to listen to UPN and talk about projects to improve both the facilities, as well as how to support to improve teaching.

“This is a project longed for several years by our university community and today it is already a reality. Today our UPN Number 152 Atizapán is in other favorable conditions to develop the teaching-learning process, to carry out teaching, research and dissemination, three important functions that we develop as a university,” said Rivera Tecorral.
