Second Floor of the Fourth Transformation, a firm path to achieve a future with equity and justice: Esteva Medina / @SICT_mx >>>

#SICT.- In commemorating the Día del Caminero, the Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, affirmed that the second floor of the Fourth Transformation is a firm road that we must build to achieve a future with equity and justice for all, founded on the deep values of Mexican humanism.

In the company of the Undersecretary of Transportation, Tania Carro Toledo; the Undersecretary of Infrastructure, Juan Carlos Fuentes Orrala; the general director of the SICT Chiapas Center (caminera), Janette Cosmes Vásquez, and other work team, the head of the SICT said that “it is time for transformation, it is time for women”.

At the foot of the Monument to the Caminero, which depicts men holding a drill, a theodolite and a book, framed by the phrase “The Caminero, integrator of Mexico’s communications”, Esteva Medina emphasized that in their work, camineras and camineros think of the children who will have access to basic health and education services.

They think of those who will be able to go to school more safely and in less time; they think of the men and women who will be able to travel easily to neighboring towns and exchange products. They think of the benefits that their work offers to the communities for their economic, social and cultural development.
