#SICT.- Juan Carlos Fuentes Orrala, Undersecretary of Infrastructure, said that only through a multidisciplinary approach can effective solutions be designed to help us face the challenges and build a safer and more accessible future for all.

In the framework of the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Mexican Association of Roadway Engineering, A.C. (AMIVTAC), which he inaugurated on behalf of the Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, he pointed out that:

“Today more than ever we need to foster collaboration among all the actors involved in mobility: government, associations, academia, industry, civil society and students.”

The experience and knowledge of AMIVTAC’s members have allowed land routes to be more than just roads; they are the channels that drive economic development, social cohesion and Mexico’s growth, he added.

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation recognizes AMIVTAC’s tireless work and close collaboration throughout these five decades, he emphasized.

“Together we have traveled a path of innovation, development and great achievements that have left a deep mark on the lives of millions of Mexicans,” he said.
