SICT attends to incidents caused by tropical storm Nadine / @jorgenunol @SICT_mx >>>

#SICT.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), informs that it is attending to several road incidents in the states of Veracruz, Chiapas, Campeche and Quintana Roo caused by tropical storm Nadine.

Veracruz

There is total interruption in the federal highway Mex 150 Orizaba-Zongolica km 20+000 and 26+200 right side; reports landslide caused by the rains.

Highway Mex 180 Libramiento Veracruz km 0+500 Cpo “A”. It is reported the fall of a tree caused by the rains. Mex 175 Buena Vista-Cosamaloapan km 58+000 Lado Izquierdo. There is a landslide caused by the rains (section delivered in the Municipality of Cosamaloapan, Ver.).

Mex 125 Fortín – Huatusco Highway 28+000 and 32+000. The fall of a stone and a tree is reported.

Highway Mex 180 Paso del Toro – Acayucan km 224+440, there is a construction site affected by collapse in the right lane, currently there is settlement in the right lane.

Mex 180 Poza Rica – Veracruz highway, section Nautla Cardel km 176+000. There is flooding on the asphalt surface.
Heavy rains were reported, there were total closures in 3 stretches of the Federal Free Highway Network, 19 with partial closure and 12 with no traffic closures.

The 3 stretches with total closures, still pending to be reopened, are:

MEX 190 Tuxtla Gutiérrez-Cd. Cuauhtémoc highway, San Cristóbal-Teopisca section, km 107+000, since last October 18 there was a landslide. The alternate route is a provisional road with an approximate length of 200 meters, right side (km 106+500).

On MEX 195 Villahermosa-Tuxtla Gutiérrez, section Lím. Edos. Tab./Chis.-Ent. Escopetazo, due to heavy rains that caused landslides and fallen trees.

On MEX 195 Villahermosa-Tuxtla Gutiérrez, section Lím. Edos. Tab./Chis.-Ent. Escopetazo, km 122+400, heavy rains caused landslides and fallen trees.
