#SICT.- As an act of social justice and with the purpose of transforming the interconnectivity in the center of the municipality, the Government of Mrs. Delfina Gómez Álvarez, through the Secretariat of Mobility (Semov) began the paving works of Prolongación 20 de Noviembre Street, which will benefit 30 thousand inhabitants of the region.
During the start of the work, Ramón Sabas Jiménez Fonseca, General Director of the General Directorate of Roads (DGV), explained that Calle Prolongación 20 de Noviembre is a dirt road that had been forgotten by previous administrations, even though it is located in the center of the municipality.
For many years, he said, the inhabitants of the area had to suffer from potholes and mud in the rainy season, in addition to the fact that it did not have adequate lighting, which made it impassable, but thanks to the coordination with the City of Luvianos and the Secretariat of Mobility, in 90 days the face of this road will change.
He indicated that once the works are finished, it will function as a bypass of the municipal capital, allowing to free the vehicular flow of the Miguel Hidalgo Avenue, which is currently the only transit road, thus reducing the travel times of the inhabitants of the region.
“With these actions, Maestra Delfina Gómez Álvarez, Governor of the State of Mexico, fulfills the commitment to govern for all the people of Mexico and bring progress to the municipalities that were relegated for years,” said Jiménez Fonseca.
He commented that the works will be carried out in 660 meters with rigid paving base of 15 centimeters thick; sidewalks and garrisons will be built; public lighting will be placed; as well as horizontal and vertical signaling, with an investment of more than 36 million pesos.
