#EstadoDeMéxico.- During 2024, the Governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, has led 200 sessions of the Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace, which are added to the 72 held in 2023, for a total of 272 meetings of this security mechanism.

“Today we celebrate the Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace, number 272 of this administration and number 200, starting this year. We were at the #C5 of #Toluca where with #ElPoderDeServir we reviewed the security strategy that is implemented in the 125 municipalities and we ruled out the importance of police elements as the cornerstone for the construction of peace and well-being of the #StateOfMexico,” Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez reported on her social networks.

From the facilities of the Control, Command, Communication, Computing and Quality Center (C5) in Toluca, the state governor showed her gratitude to the more than 23 thousand active members of the Secretariat of Security of the State of Mexico (SSEM) who are distributed throughout the state, carrying out crime prevention, cyber intelligence, investigation, prosecution of crimes, administrative sanctions and more.

At the 272nd Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace of this administration, there were Horacio Duarte Olivares, Secretary General of Government; Cristóbal Castañeda Camarillo, Secretary of State Security; José Luis Cervantes Martínez, Attorney General of Justice of the State of Mexico; as well as representatives of the Secretariats of National Defense and the Navy; the National Guard and the National Intelligence Center.
