The State of Mexico stands out for its tourist sites for mountain biking / @Edomex >>>
#EstadoDeMéxico.- The State of Mexico has forests, mountains, ecotourism parks and state parks ideal for sports activities, including mountain biking.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism encourages the practice of this sport in circuits or natural spaces in municipalities such as Aculco, El Oro, Ixtapan de la Sal, Nicolás Romero, Otumba, San Martín de las Pirámides, Temoaya, Teotihuacán, Tenancingo, and Valle de Bravo.
The “Nevado de Toluca” Flora and Fauna Protection Area is a popular site for mountain biking enthusiasts; there are even circuits on the slopes of Xinantécatl that pass through some caves. This site can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Valle de Bravo has the Mirador Monte Alto reserve, also known as “Torre del ranger”, a site that stands out for sports tourism and offers mountain biking activities.
Mountain bike fans can ride in the Hermenegildo Galeana State Park, in the municipality of Tenancingo, a site with trails and landscapes that connect with nature. This destination opens every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Magical Town of El Oro, within its natural beauties, has a forested area and mountains which provide trails for mountain biking on Mount Descubridora. Its surroundings are not to be missed with bodies of water such as the Brockman Dam, Cristal Dam and El Gigante.
The municipalities of Tepetlaoxtoc, Chiautla, Acolman, Teotihuacán and San Martín de las Pirámides have the Sierra Patlachique State Park, where cyclists enjoy beautiful landscapes and ride between its trails. Hours are Monday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
