Imevis and PJEM deliver more than 500 sentences to regularize housing through summary trials of usucapion / @Edomex >>>
#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Mexican Institute of Social Housing (Imevis) and the Judicial Branch of the State of Mexico (PJEM) delivered 567 summary judgments of usucapion, a procedure that legally recognizes an owner, which increases the value of the property and provides opportunities such as access to support or loans from banking institutions.
During the day of the Itinerant Social Usucapion Program «For a justice closer to you», Alejandro Tenorio Esquivel, General Director of Imevis, a decentralized agency of the Secretariat of Urban Development and Infrastructure (Sedui), said that said program is unique in its kind, which brings the people of Mexico closer to a fast, easy and economic path to regularization.
She explained that if the file is properly prepared, the trial lasts just over two hours, thanks to the innovation of the processes of the Judicial Branch, once the sentence is issued by the Specialized Courts for Summary Usucapion Trial, located in Lerma and Ecatepec, the Imevis carries out the registration before the Institute of the Registry Function of the State of Mexico (IFREM), which allows the formalization of the corresponding property title, with a total cost for the beneficiary of 986 pesos.
The event was attended by Mireya Beatriz Alanís Sánchez, Judge of First Instance assigned to the Specialized Court for Summary Usucapion Trial with residence in Lerma, representing Magistrate Ricardo Alfredo Sodi Cuellar, President of the Superior Court of Justice and of the Council of the Judiciary of the Judicial Branch of the State of Mexico.
Also attending were Michelle Núñez Ponce, Municipal President of Valle de Bravo; as well as Roberto Bautista Arellano and Manuel Vilchis Viveros, municipal presidents of Tenango del Valle and Zinacantepec, respectively.
