Martí Batres advances in work strategy to improve the ISSSTE / @ISSSTE_mx >>>

#ISSSTE.- The general director of the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), Martí Batres Guadarrama, informed members of the Board of Directors of the organization that he began meetings with the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, and with the Secretary of Health, David Kershenobich Stalnikowitz, to define the goals that will allow the institution to be strengthened and improved in the remainder of 2024 and all of 2025.

During the 1387th ordinary session of the highest governing body of the institute, the head of the ISSSTE explained that his work team began the integration, structuring and planning of this new stage to continue the task of recovering the organization, above all, to serve its beneficiaries.

«We aim to work to resolve various fronts; the president has a great interest in paying attention to the supply of medicines, which remains stable and we must strengthen it; improve the working conditions of workers; carry out the nationalization of the Issste, so that those services that were privatized over the past decades can be reintegrated into the institution as part of its public assets.»

It is necessary to continue the processes of updating infrastructure, both the basic one, which is fundamental, as well as the corresponding equipment. All these aspects are of interest to be addressed globally. The issue of health is central; however, there are other services and benefits, such as the recovery of Superissste stores, tourism and, above all, we are very interested in contributing to the National Housing Strategy and supporting the institute’s members in this matter, because it is fundamental for social well-being.
