#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- The Mayor of Atizapán de Zaragoza, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, whom the academic authorities qualify as a “friend of education”, for his closeness and support to the student sector, has delivered in less than three years 38,354 school supports through the Student Scholarship Program in the educational periods 2022-2023, 2023-2024 and so far 2024-2025.

Since the beginning of his administration, the Mayor of Atizapan has marked a before and after, according to the authorities and teachers who, upon receiving him at the schools, have expressed that in his presidency the roles have been reversed and he is the one who knocks on the door to ask what is needed to improve the quality of learning.

“I studied all my life in public schools and I know the limitations that young people suffer. Today our obligation is to support them for all they are worth, it is a pity that of the computers I delivered 10 years ago no other government took care to give more. Today we have already delivered computers to all the morning shift schools and in the coming months we will begin to deliver computers to the afternoon shifts,” said Rodriguez Villegas.

Both in the delivery of scholarships and in his visits to the various schools, the Municipal President, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, is accompanied by trustees and aldermen, to whom he gives credit, recognizing that they have spoken out in favor of improving the schools with the construction of archways, new classrooms, restrooms and the installation of 100 computer classrooms with 20 computers each.

Through the Department of Education, in the year 2022, the year in which his administration began, the Municipal President decided to allocate resources to the entire student community to help them achieve their dreams and continue with their studies.

The amounts allocated by the Atizapán de Zaragoza City Council have gradually increased, as has the number of beneficiaries. In the last delivery that took place last week, for Economic Vulnerability at the Basic Level 1,200 pesos were given; Economic Vulnerability at the Middle Higher Level 1,400 pesos and Economic Vulnerability at the Higher Level 1,600 pesos. Academic Excellence was 1,850 pesos and Different Disabilities 1,600 pesos.
