Invitation to join the tourism promotion of “Acapulco celebrates big” / @SECTUR_mx >>>
#SECTUR.- As part of the economic reactivation of the port of Acapulco, in compliance with the instruction of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, and within the framework of the powers of the Ministry of Tourism of the Government of Mexico, the actions to boost the arrival of tourists to this important destination are being continued.
Therefore, the General Directorate of Social Communication of Sectur Mexico makes available to members of the sector, associations, media and citizens, the campaign “Acapulco celebrates big”, materials to disseminate high-impact activities to be held in Acapulco, in the months of November and December 2024, in order to join and / or contribute to the promotion of this destination, through the dissemination of attractive content, which is hosted on the microsite https://acapulcogrande.sectur.gob.mx/acapulco.html, on the web portal of the agency, in downloadable version.
In 2023 Acapulco was the most popular domestic tourist destination, with almost 5.7 million arrivals of residents to lodging establishments, so we invite citizens and private initiative to join this joint effort so that Acapulco continues to be a tourist reference worldwide.
