GEM invests more than $4.4 million pesos in educational infrastructure in Acolman and San Martín de las Pirámides >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Government of the State of Mexico, headed by Mrs. Delfina Gómez Álvarez, reinforces the educational infrastructure in the municipalities of San Martín de las Pirámides and Acolman, with the purpose of providing the students of the State of Mexico with decent spaces for their educational activities. This effort is carried out in collaboration with the municipalities, school authorities and parents.

Miguel Ángel Hernández Espejel, Secretary of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, made a working tour of these municipalities in the eastern region, where he emphasized that, on the instructions of the Governor of the State of Mexico, schools are being visited to identify the needs that must be addressed in order to improve the quality of education.

During his tour, the Secretary visited the “José Gómez Vallejo” Elementary School in Acolman, where 2 million 296 thousand pesos are being invested in the construction of a multi-purpose workshop. He was also present at the “Juan Escutia” Kindergarten in San Martin de las Pyramides, where work will be carried out to replace the civic plaza with an investment of 2.1 million pesos, works that are in charge of the State Government.

“Today we came to supervise the works that are being carried out in this educational infrastructure. The Governor of the State of Mexico is committed to providing better conditions for children to feel more comfortable in their learning spaces. This is a task that involves all of us, both teachers and parents,” said Miguel Ángel Hernández Espejel.

The head of SECTI also toured the “Wenceslao Sánchez de la Barquera” Elementary School and Official High School No. 187 in Acolman, as well as Official High School No. 19 and “Gregorio Torres Quintero” Elementary School in San Martín de las Pirámides.
