Melina Rivera de Unánue presents her third year of results as head of the DIF Municipal de Boca del Río / @_BocadelRio >>>

#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- The president of the DIF Municipal de Boca del Río, Melina Rivera de Unánue, presented her Third Work Report accompanied by Mayor Juan Manuel de Unánue, family members, authorities and society in general, highlighting the achievements made for the benefit of the most vulnerable sectors of the population.

“Today more than ever I feel deeply grateful to each person who has been part of this effort. Every program, every support and every smile is a reflection of the heart and commitment of this great team that makes up the DIF of Boca del Río,” expressed Rivera de Unánue.

Among the achievements mentioned, she highlighted the continuity of emblematic programs such as “With Love We See Better”, which benefited children and seniors with prescription glasses, and the “Cleft Lip and Palate Surgery Campaign” that transformed the lives of dozens of children. She also highlighted the work with enterprising women through the program “United We Are Stronger” and the support to senior citizens with the delivery of functional devices.

Rivera de Unánue recognized important achievements, such as the comprehensive care for children through the CADIS and CAICS assistance centers, festivals, health campaigns and donations to various associations that support vulnerable children.
