#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- When rendering the Third Report this Thursday, December 5, Mayor Rocío Miguel Hernández, affirmed that a clear vision and goals achieved, Tecámac is positioned as an example of good governance in the State of Mexico and the country in “six years of transformation and good government”.

He said that this municipality has established itself as a local, regional and national reference thanks to a management based on efficiency, transparency and financial responsibility.

During his speech he recognized the historical role of women in Tecámac’s politics, emphasizing Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, who was evaluated as the best municipal president of the entity and currently represents the State of Mexico in the Senate of the Republic.

Before the personal representative of Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez, the Undersecretary of Culture and Tourism, Fátima Orquídea Olivares Torres, the Mayoress emphasized that Tecámac has become a model municipality in which citizens actively contribute, confident in the correct administration of resources, which are destined to productive public investment and security.

And proof of this, he said, is that in the last two years a little more than 500 million pesos have been allocated for public works and a similar amount is destined to guarantee the safety of Tecámac families.

“With great satisfaction I can assure that almost 7 out of every 10 pesos of the municipal budget goes back to the families of Tecámac in works and in the most demanded service par excellence, public safety,” he said.

In addition, in the last six years, 3.2 million square meters have been paved in more than 500 streets and avenues. During 2024 the roads that were rehabilitated include Nicolas Bravo, San Pablo and Canal del Norte, among others.

Miguel Hernandez assured that no debts will be inherited with agencies such as the Federal Electricity Commission, Conagua, SAT or ISSSEMYM. He also announced that the long-term debt, contracted in 2011, will be paid off in 2026.

As Tecámac is a leader in public safety, the Civil Guard has become one of the best municipal corporations in the State of Mexico, due to the continuous improvement process to which it has been subjected, practically during the 6 years of this period.

The police officers of Tecámac continue to be the best paid in the state; in addition, they have a scholarship program for their children; institutionalized programs of incentives and rewards; they are provided with uniforms of the highest quality, patrol cars, insurance and first class facilities.

In the area of education, 154 educational infrastructure projects were carried out with an investment of 348.8 million pesos, among the most emblematic works is the construction of the Center for Scientific and Technological Studies (CECyT) number 19, “Leona Vicario”, of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), a project financed entirely with municipal resources for more than 500 million pesos.

Rocio Miguel Hernandez emphasized that the transformation stage does not end, but opens the way for the continuity of a project that has made a substantial difference in the quality of life of the people of Tecamaquenses.

In her message and on behalf of Delfina Gómez, the Undersecretary of Culture and Tourism, Fátima Orquídea Olivares Torres, reaffirmed the governor’s commitment to transcend colors and parties with the municipal authorities, always having as a priority the welfare of the people.

She acknowledged that the state governor has demonstrated with facts that governing is to serve, and in the State of Mexico she is working to strengthen the municipalities.

Attending as a guest, Senator Mariela Gutiérrez highlighted in her message the achievements obtained in the last six years, of which she governed the last five, made the municipality a reference of leadership in works, social programs and educational investment, among others.

He pointed out the much to be done and the challenges that the future holds, undoubtedly promising, because today we have two extraordinary allies that we know love Tecámac. In the State of Mexico, the governor is exercising with simplicity and humanism a government that is sensitive and close to the people, he added.

In the presidency of the Republic, Claudia Sheimbaun is building every day the second floor of the Fourth Transformation, with support for students, women caregivers and the train to Pachuca, which Tecámac by its location will consolidate, in the short term, in the new pole of development with welfare.
