#SICT.- The Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC) is committed to addressing the recommendations and implementing the necessary corrective measures, reinforcing Mexico’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards of aviation safety.

Miguel Enrique Vallin Osuna, accompanied by the Undersecretary of Communications and Transportation, Tania Carro Toledo, at the commemoration of the 119th anniversary of the birth and presentation of the “Emilio Carranza” award to 93 recipients, who through their work and dedication contribute to the development and excellence of aviation in our country.

Miguel Enrique Vallin Osuna pointed out that the ACAA has shown an open and collaborative attitude towards the recent audit of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), an exercise that has been key to identify areas of opportunity in operational safety.

The CAIA director said that this audit has helped strengthen internal processes, improve staff training and optimize resources, consolidating it as a solid and reliable aeronautical authority.

“The Federal Civil Aviation Agency has played a fundamental role in the development of aviation in Mexico, and each of the achievements we are celebrating today has been possible thanks to the joint work of all those involved in this great industry,” he said.
