#Economía.- As part of the Inter-Institutional Meetings of Welfare Corridors and Economic Sectors and in order to know the priorities and needs to implement investment projects and detonate the growth of the entities, the Secretary of Economy, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon, met with the Secretary of Economic Development of Mexico City, Manola Zabalza Aldama. Marcelo Ebrard called on the secretaries in attendance to take advantage of the opportunities in each region of the country, consolidate investment, strengthen points and track investment to boost the economy of each entity.

Regarding the Made in Mexico brand, the Secretary of Economy said that it should be a symbol of national identity that provides certainty in exports. During the event, investment opportunities and key strategies to boost regional and state economic development were presented.

For her part, Mexico City’s Secretary of Economic Development, Manola Zabalza Aldama, commented that the necessary actions must be implemented to make the capital a city that is open to private investment and that adjusts to the vocation of each of the 16 municipalities. She assured that the right signals are being sent to investors and that they are being given certainty, hope and security.

She said she is willing to manage production plans such as the Mexico City Investment Agency (InCDMX), announced a few days ago by the Chief of Government, which aims to attract investment to Mexico City.
