#ISSSTE.- Afore Pensionissste reaffirms its social commitment to promote financial well-being by reducing its commission to 0.52 percent, effective from January 1 to December 31, 2025, as stated in the notice published this Wednesday in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF).

This commission represents three basis points less, compared to what the rest of the Retirement Fund Administrators (Afores) will charge, for the benefit of workers affiliated to the Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (Issste), the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (Imss) and independent workers.

The above, after the Governing Board of the National Commission of the Retirement Savings System (Consar) determined that the maximum commissions charged by Afores will be subject to by 2025 will go from 0.57 to 0.55 percent of the balance of assets under management.

This means that for every thousand pesos in the balance of the Individual Accounts of workers registered in Pensionissste, only 5.2 pesos per year will be charged for account management, so the lower the commission, the greater the savings.

On November 29, the Consar announced the new fees to be charged by the Afores for the coming year, highlighting Pensionissste as the administrator with the lowest fee in the industry.
