SICT to maintain Bachetón program through 2025 / @SICT_mx >>>
#SICT.- The Government of Mexico, through the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), informs that the Bachetón program, aimed at repaving and eliminating potholes on the main federal highways of the 31 states throughout the country, will continue throughout the present 2025.
The program has already covered 16,300 kilometers with an average of 37 percent progress, with Nayarit with 82 percent; Colima 68 percent; Sonora 65 percent; Chiapas 59 percent; Tabasco 57 percent; Sinaloa 56 percent; Hidalgo and Tlaxcala 53 percent, respectively; as well as Aguascalientes, Durango and Michoacán with 50 percent.
The initial goal of the Bachetón Program in its November 2024 to March 2025 stage is the attention of 44,120 kilometers with a budget of 1,591 million pesos, which has allowed the creation of 1,126 direct jobs and 2,251 indirect jobs.
In another order, the SICT will initiate, under the concept of mixed investment, the following highway projects: Sonoyita-Puerto Peñasco in the state of Sonora; Córdoba-Orizaba, Cardel la Tinaja, Veracruz; La Pithaya SLP- Querétaro, in the state of Querétaro; and Uruapan-Zamora; Nueva Italia-Lázaro Cárdenas, in the state of Michoacán.
Similarly, the SICT will build between 2025 and 2026, in agreement with the governors, 20 bridges and road distributors in Baja California Sur, Campeche, Colima, Estado de México, Morelos, Nayarit, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, Sinaloa, Veracruz and Tlaxcala.
