The Undersecretary of Tourism explained that this exercise, instructed by the President, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, seeks to encourage the participation of the entire population to enrich and shape the National Development Plan that defines the priorities in economic, social and political matters during the six-year term.

He thanked the more than 500 participants for their participation, as well as the reception of more than 30 written proposals in 19 work tables, since it allows the voices and perspectives of different social groups to be heard, so that the NDP responds to the needs of all Mexicans.

“What Dr. Sheinbaum has asked of us is that there be planning, that there be a long-term vision and also that the planning be democratic, that is, that it be with the participation of the people, of the people, that the citizens and the different sectors participate, the workers, the social organizations, the businessmen, the farmers, the universities, everyone has to participate in the vision of the country we want”, she declared.
