Martí Batres presents report on his first 100 days as head of ISSSTE / @martibatres @ISSSTE_mx >>>

#ISSSTE.- The Director General of the Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (ISSSTE), Martí Batres Guadarrama, presented a report on his first 100 days at the helm of the Institute, in which he highlighted 100 actions carried out in the areas of health, housing, pensions, personal loans, legislation, financing and social services.

Accompanied by directors, directors, executive spokespersons, union leaders and workers who work at the agency, he highlighted the presentation of the 25-Point Plan for the Transformation of the ISSSTE, with the aim of continuing with the recovery of the agency initiated by Andrés Manuel López Obrador and responding to the objectives of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo: putting the beneficiaries at the center; reducing waiting times to access health services; standardizing the salaries of medical staff; improving health infrastructure with social participation, among other actions.

“2025 is a key year in the history of our Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado, with the implementation of a broad and ambitious Transformation Plan through 25 points. The 100 actions carried out in its first 100 days are just a first response to the historic demands of the beneficiaries (…) These 100 days of ISSSTE’s transformation highlight the institution’s and the State’s capacity to intervene and reorganize the social structure for the benefit of the majority,” he said.

Regarding the nationalization of hospitals and medical services, Martí Batres highlighted the recovery of the units in Villahermosa, Tabasco; Mérida, Yucatán; and Tepic, Nayarit; as well as the hemodynamics and anesthesia services.
