#GobiernoDeMéxico.- From the Chamber of Deputies, in collaboration with Local Deputy J. Reyes Galindo Pedraza, Coordinator of the Parliamentary Group of the PT in the Local Congress of Michoacán, and the Deputy for the 22nd District of Múgica, Reginaldo Sandoval, Coordinator of the Parliamentary Group of the Labor Party in the Chamber of Deputies, the 13th edition of the Melon Fair in Zicuirán, Michoacán, was presented.

Also present at the event were Ulises Sánchez Garibay, Production Manager of “CUYUCU” Packaging and President of the Melon Producers; José Antonio Calderón Castro, Municipal Trustee of the City Council of La Huacana; and Natanel Romero Ramírez, Secretary of the City Council of La Huacana. Together they highlighted the relevance of this fair, which celebrates the efforts of more than 80 local producers and highlights the quality of the ‘honey drop’ melon, an emblematic product of Tierra Caliente with both national and international recognition.

The fair, which will take place on February 1, will not only serve as a showcase for local agricultural production, but also as an opportunity to enjoy various cultural, gastronomic and tourist activities, promoting the union of communities and strengthening the regional economy.
