#EstadoDeVeracruz.- President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo’s recent working tour of Veracruz left important advances in infrastructure, social and economic development, highlighted Governor Rocio Nahle Garcia in an interview with Quatro Media Comunicaciones.

“We must be grateful for the President’s generosity and her affection for the people of Veracruz. It was three days of a very intense, but very productive tour. She came to announce the social programs, the Clinic is ours, the cards for women from 60 to 64 years old.”

Among the main achievements of this visit, he highlighted the approval for the construction of the new Coatzacoalcos I bridge and the Boca del Río bridge that will link the Veracruz Riviera with this conurbation, whose execution will begin in 2026; the modernization of the Orizaba-Córdoba beltway and the rehabilitation of highways.

“I have a very ambitious project of the Gulf Train, so we were also talking about that, also projects of the livestock field, all the roads, it was very useful because he sees how the roads are,” he said.

It was agreed that the commissioner of CONAPESCA, Alejandro Flores Nava, will visit next Friday, February 21, to attend to the concerns of the sector and to advance in the installation of a headquarters in Alvarado, which will facilitate the procedures and support to the fishermen of the Gulf of Mexico.

In the area of health, he announced the reactivation of the Misantla hospital, a work abandoned since 2010 and after the visit of Alejandro Svarch, director of IMSS-Bienestar, the feasibility of its completion will be analyzed.

Finally, he pointed out that this Monday, as part of his agenda, he will meet with the Ministry of Finance to negotiate budgetary resources for Veracruz. After his return, he has scheduled a dinner in Boca del Río with businessmen from Mexico and the United States to strengthen investment and economic growth in the state.
