National Road Infrastructure Program adds up to a total investment of 173 billion pesos: Esteva Medina / @jorgenunol @SICT_mx >>>
#SICT.- The Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, informed that the National Road Infrastructure Program 2025-2030 will total an investment of 173 billion pesos for more than 4,000 kilometers in length.
Before President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the head of the SICT said that the Program contemplates continuity works for 126 km and investment of 4,597 mdp; priority axes with close to 3 thousand km with investment of 118 thousand 470 mdp, which includes the road program in Oaxaca as part of the Lázaro Cárdenas Plan with investment of 5,986 mdp for 904 km.
In addition to the highway program in Guerrero with resources for 1,880 million pesos and 3.8 km in length, as well as the investment in 18 bridges, with an investment of 11,847 million pesos and 15.8 km.
In terms of mixed investment, the government plans to develop 5 highway projects under the “construction, maintenance and operation model where the Government holds the majority of the percentage” with an investment of 30,665 million pesos and nearly 300 km in length.
Regarding the continuity works, he informed that the Rizo de Oro Bridge will be concluded in October of this year, which has 2 km of roads plus the 400 meter long arch bridge; Real del Monte-Huasca will be ready on March 11 and 10 km will be put into operation; the Nichupté Vehicular Bridge will be ready in August; and San Ignacio-Tayoltita in May, already very advanced and work is being done on 10 simultaneous fronts.
