#SICT.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) informs that during the current administration, 18 bridges and road distributors will be built, with a total length of 15.8 kilometers, benefiting 11 entities in the country.

These works are essential to reduce travel times and promote economic and social development, and will benefit 6,590,728 people.

In a country with growing urbanization, infrastructure plays a key role in the connectivity between cities, states and productive centers, in addition to generating jobs, which for these projects will number 132,673.

The construction of these works will begin this year and some will be completed in 2028. They will be carried out in the states of Baja California Sur, Mexico City/State of Mexico, Colima, Morelos, Nayarit, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, Sinaloa, Tlaxcala and Veracruz, for which 11,847 million pesos will be invested. The breakdown is as follows:

Baja California Sur: Glorieta Fonatur (2 km).
Mexico City/Edo de Mexico: 2 bridges in Alameda Oriente (1.2 km)
Colima: 2 freeways at Arco Sur (.38 km) and Arco Norte (.52 km), the Barrio V Bridge (.7 km), the railroad overpass at the main entrance to the port of Manzanillo (.8 km) and the La Flechita vehicular overpass (.7 km).
Morelos: Jojutla Bridge (.05 km) and the vehicular access bridge to the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos (1 km)
Nayarit: Amado Nervo Bridge (1.8 km) and Luis Donaldo Colosio railroad overpass (0.04 km)
Querétaro: 2 bridges Av. de Los Patos (1.2 km)
Quintana Roo: Geological fault bridge (.33 km)
Sinaloa: Mexico 15-Perez Escobosa vehicular overpass (.36 km)
Tlaxcala: Santa Ana Viaduct (.610 km)
Veracruz: Access to the Port of Veracruz (0.87 km), Paso del Toro Road Distributor (0.35 km) and Santa Ana Viaduct (0.61 km).
