#Naucalpan, #Edoméx.- Before giving the green light to the start of the rehabilitation works in the Modelo neighborhood, Mayor Isaac Montoya Márquez emphasized that his government is working to ensure that, by the end of his administration, 1 million square meters of streets will be reconstructed for the benefit of all Naucalpan residents.

«We are working hand in hand with the government of the State of Mexico and the Federal Government on all matters, which is why you entrusted us with a project, and I tell you very clearly, we will not let you down, and we clearly understand that the best way to say things will always be to do them, more than any rhetoric,» the mayor emphasized.

He told residents that these actions will benefit not only the Modelo neighborhood, but also the communities of La Industrial, La Perla, and Fraccionamiento de Pastores. This will improve living conditions. We know this is not enough; we are going to rebuild the entire municipality; we are going to reach every community. He added that they are working hand in hand with the State of Mexico government to improve roads such as Gustavo Baz Street and the Periférico itself.

The rehabilitation work on Calle Victoria and Calle E, in the Modelo neighborhood, consists of asphalt paving using recovery and asphalt replacement techniques. This will improve the municipality’s connectivity through pavement rehabilitation.

It will also improve urban infrastructure conditions with the releveling of manhole curbs, manholes, and drains. Likewise, these conditions will be improved and travel times reduced.

Montoya Márquez explained that, regarding security, 250 new patrol cars will be integrated into the municipality within two weeks for the safety of all. In addition, he said, adding those that are already in place, those that were recovered, those that were acquired at a fair price, and those that were leased, there will be 450 patrol cars, which will be practically more than double the number that had been left behind.
