Abelina López government launches a hydraulic concrete patching program / @AbelinaLopezR @Acapulco >>>

#Acapulco, #Gro.- The Municipal Government, headed by Abelina López Rodríguez, through the Heavy Machinery and Vehicle Fleet Directorate, launched its patching program using hydraulic concrete, which will provide not only a better image but also greater durability.

The head of the department, Alfredo García Vázquez, reported that these works began on Hermenegildo Galeana Street in the city center, where 42 cubic meters of premixed hydraulic concrete were paved, equivalent to 70 linear meters by 5 meters wide.

«We are already giving the green light, in accordance with the instructions of our President, Dr. Abelina López Rodríguez, to begin patching with hydraulic concrete,» stated the director.

As part of the permanent patching brigade, which is primarily done with asphalt concrete, the official announced that 9,000 square meters of streets and avenues throughout the city have already been paved.

This week, patching crews have been working on Gran Vía Tropical, Pie de la Cuesta Road, the road known as Costera Vieja and Nueva Era. Meanwhile, on Rafael Izaguirre Street in Balcones de Costa Azul, the Acapulco Municipal Water and Sewer Commission (CAPAMA) is repairing a collapsed drain covering approximately 37 linear meters. Once the work is completed, CAPAMA will move in to replace the concrete.

The official reminded the public of other work being carried out by this agency, which is part of the Secretariat of Urban Development and Public Works, such as demolishing rock on Hermenegildo Galeana Street, in the upper part of the Lázaro Cárdenas neighborhood.
