Agreements come into force for the benefit of the FOVISSSTE accredited population / @ISSSTE_mx >>>

#ISSSTE.- This afternoon, the Mexican Government published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) the agreements approving the implementation of the various actions comprising the Support Program for accredited individuals of the Housing Fund of the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (FOVISSSTE), to facilitate the settlement of their loans.

Thus, and by agreement of the Board of Directors, the following programs will begin operating today for the benefit of accredited individuals of the Fund, headed by Jabnely Maldonado Meza:

Legal Certainty Program: This program will benefit 933 accredited individuals who meet the requirements of being 55 years of age or older, having pensioner status, and having an outstanding balance equal to or less than 30,000 pesos. Accredited individuals who qualify for this benefit will receive notification of the benefit through their account statement.

Credit Restructuring Program: As its name suggests, this program will allow for the restructuring of loans originated in Units of Measurement and Update (UMA) into pesos and will provide support to active workers and retirees or pensioners. The criteria for each program include having a current loan with a balance; in the case of active workers, this balance must be greater than the initial amount granted.

For retirees or pensioners, the financing must have been originated while they were active and have a 30 percent discount from their pension for mortgage repayment.

In both cases, the overdue debt must not be due to missed payments, and the accumulated balance must be equivalent to six months of their payment obligation.
