The Government of the State of Mexico launches a call for proposals for 2025 rural programs / @Edomex >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- The State of Mexico government announced that registration will begin on April 22nd for the «Transforming the Countryside» and «Rescuing the Countryside» programs, which provide subsidies for machinery, agricultural inputs, tools, genetic material, and other support.

«We will be opening windows starting on the 22nd in the districts, where producers can attend and submit their documents and applications, depending on the support they require,» said María Eugenia Rojano Valdés, Secretary of the Countryside.

The process will be carried out in the 11 Regional Delegations of the Secretariat of the Countryside (SeCampo); the windows will be open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

In a press conference, the Secretary of the Countryside explained that this year, changes were made to both programs, including increased collaboration with municipal governments.

Through the Rural Rescue Program, producers can request various types of equipment such as sprinklers, biodigesters, nixtamal mills, netting, backyard modules, and various types of seeds, as well as backyard gardens, farms, and school gardens.

Meanwhile, the Transforming the Rural Program includes components for individuals, municipalities, educational institutions, and producer organizations, ranging from milking machines and drones, to cows and bulls of different species.

Both programs aim to reach 18,000 production units with a budget of 1.5 billion pesos and more than 100 different types of support.
