#BenitoJuárez, #CDMX.- The Benito Juárez City Hall held its first meeting with legal representatives of shopping malls, with the aim of strengthening coordination on security and civil protection issues.
During the meeting, city officials reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining open channels of communication, conducting visits to establishments, and promptly addressing any situation related to crime prevention and strengthening the Comprehensive Civil Protection Program. The goal is clear: to guarantee order, safety, and the well-being of both tenants and visitors.
Chief of Staff Bernardo Lartigue emphasized the importance of establishing effective collaboration between authorities and business representatives to achieve common goals in security and public order.
«We know that shopping malls are experiencing intense activity, so it is important to reflect and act together. Today we have a much more robust operation than a year ago, which has allowed us to advance order, security, and create safer spaces for families. As government officials, we can and want to contribute to ensuring this continues,» Lartigue said.
In this regard, the legal representatives of the shopping centers expressed their support for this collaboration with the mayor’s office and expressed their full willingness to address these situations.
This meeting represents a firm step toward building a joint strategy between the government and the commercial sector, which will continue to guarantee peace, security, and quality of life in Benito Juárez.
