#SRE.- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), in coordination with the Ministry of Economy (SE), today presented Plan Mexico to the diplomatic corps accredited in Mexico, as well as to the heads of our country’s representations abroad. This is a decisive step in the internationalization of this priority project of President Claudia Sheinbaum for national development.

During the announcement of the internationalization of Plan Mexico, which took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he was accompanied by the Minister of Economy, Marcelo Ebrard, and the President of the Business Coordinating Council, Francisco Cervantes, Foreign Minister Juan Ramón de la Fuente announced that Mexico’s network of 162 embassies, consulates, and missions to international organizations will deploy their efforts to contribute more actively, effectively, and committedly to promoting this Plan to boost the country’s economic and social development.

De la Fuente reminded the ambassadors and consuls who will promote this priority project that Mexico has very solid assets, starting with the leadership and international prestige of President Claudia Sheinbaum.

He said that the internationalization of Plan Mexico with strategic partners at the international level becomes very important within the framework of our sovereignty, and to achieve this, he specified, we will have to deploy our best diplomatic, consular, and international cooperation capabilities to more effectively promote Mexico’s presence in the world, as well as the participation of strategic partners in these types of programs.

Secretary of Economy Marcelo Ebrard mentioned that foreign investment is very important for us because many production chains will be relocated, subsidy chains will be transformed, and Mexico will be ready to participate in that.
