#EstadoDeGuerrero.- As part of its commitment to the professionalization of security forces and institutional strengthening, the Guerrero State Public Security Secretariat celebrated the graduation of 21 new members of the ninth generation of the Special Forces Operational Group.

This new generation represents a significant advance in the consolidation of highly trained elite forces, which strengthens the operational capabilities of the State Police and contributes to generating greater trust among citizens.

During the closing ceremony, held at the State Police University, the Secretary of Public Security, Josué Barrón Sevilla, highlighted the strategic importance of the Special Forces Group, whose work focuses on crime prevention, social outreach, and unrestricted respect for human rights. In his message, he urged the new members to perform with integrity, discipline, and commitment, reaffirming the pride that comes with being part of a specialized unit serving Guerrero society.

“The mission of the Special Forces goes beyond tactical operations; it is about serving with ethics, responsibility, and a high sense of duty,” stated the head of the Guerrero State Public Security Service.

The training course lasted three months, during which the 21 graduates, 14 men and 7 women, received intensive training in key topics such as the National Law on the Use of Force, First Responder Protocol, Standardized Police Reports, National Registry of Arrests, and shooting practice, among other fundamental topics.

It is worth noting that the incorporation of women into this specialized force reaffirms the institutional commitment to equity and gender equality, promoting an inclusive environment within public security structures.

The Guerrero State Public Security Secretariat reaffirms its mission to train highly trained personnel with a vocation for service, closeness to the community, and a firm commitment to peace and social well-being.
