#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- This weekend, the Tecámac City Council will redouble its efforts to provide peace and quiet to its residents during the Mother’s Day celebrations, reinforcing security in markets, shopping malls, cemeteries, banks, restaurants, and department stores.

Of note this Sunday is Gloria Trevi’s free performance at the Sierra Hermosa Ecological and Sports Park, which the municipal government is organizing through the Tecámac DIF (District of Inquiry into the Nation). Security will be in place both inside and outside the event venue.

The Tecámac Civil Guard will implement these security measures for the Mother’s Day celebrations and the concert by the Monterrey native, who will perform as part of the May 10th celebrations, and where thousands of people are expected to attend.

Approximately 500 Civil Guard and Civil Protection Coordination personnel will be deployed to ensure the safety of visitors and residents, as well as to prevent crime in commercial, residential, and recreational areas throughout the municipality, as well as in the central area, which is a hub for activity.

The actions will begin at 6:00 a.m. this Saturday, Mother’s Day, and will conclude in the early hours of Monday, after the Gloria Trevi concert.

These include the «Advanced,» «Sentinel,» «Vehicle in Order,» and «Safe Vehicle» measures, as well as «Drive Without Alcohol,» which will be carried out randomly or where the highest crime rate is recorded.

As part of the actions, and with the instruction of the Mayor, Rosi Wong Romero, municipal personnel will intensify foot patrols in commercial areas, and intelligence personnel will monitor targets for account holder theft and fraud. Aerial patrols are also planned in shopping malls.
