#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The Tecámac Regional Fair enters its final weekend, which is expected to be spectacular, concluding what has been a great celebration over the seven days that have taken place amidst great artistic, cultural, and free performances in a family-friendly atmosphere.
During this period, more than 100,000 people have gathered at the fairgrounds to enjoy gastronomic samples, various cultural and artistic activities, as well as spectacular concerts with free admission, including one dedicated to Children’s Day.
This year, the Pavilion of the 12 Native Peoples of Tecámac stood out, showcasing their origins and the cultural richness of each of their places. This was one of the most visited, generating particular interest among attendees.
Performing artists have included the representative of the Aguilar dynasty, Majo Aguilar; TKumbia, Eme Mala Fe, Súper Auto, Campeche Show, the band Anaconda, and regional music singer El Fantasma, not to mention the sound duel with 10 performers, among others.
This weekend, twist, surf, and rock madness will take center stage with Yucatán a Gogó and Camilo Séptimo this Saturday; on Sunday, the fair closes with Dos Carnales, and this Friday, Yaguarú and Claudio Alcaraz.
Children’s shows, folkloric ballet, wrestling, and concerts with local talent have also been held at the Teatro del Pueblo, in addition to a craft area and a wide variety of traditional foods.
This year, the traditional fair, which concludes this Sunday, is celebrated in conjunction with the bicentennial of the establishment of the municipality of Tecámac.
The Tecámac Regional Fair takes place on these dates as part of the celebration of the Holy Cross, this Saturday, May 3, since Tecámac originally adopted the name Santa Cruz Tecámac.
