#CuautitlánIzcalli, #EstadoDeMéxico.-  The Municipal President, Daniel Serrano, made a tour through the streets of streets of Ejido El Socorro, to follow up on the demands of neighbours in terms of drinking water, infrastructure, public services, road clearance and drainage.

This visit followed a meeting held last week at the Municipal Palace between the mayor and the inhabitants of this community. The visit stemmed from the meeting held last week at the Municipal Palace between the mayor and residents of this community, who came to demand the supply of drinking water in their neighbourhood.

During the tour of different streets in the community, the Municipal President informed that as part of this year’s programme of works, the Río Durazno street, a work that has been requested by the inhabitants for more than 30 years, is being considered.

After listening to the various citizen petitions, the mayor instructed to draw up routes and schedules for the collection of solid waste, as well as to review the issue of road clearance, which has been invaded by various organisations.

«I will be clear, I have no agreements with any organisation, I asked the people of Cuautitlán Izcalli to support me and my commitment is with the people, with no one else,» said Daniel Serrano.

Neighbours of Ejido El Socorro thanked the Municipal President for listening and attending to their needs, as their community had been abandoned for years, and they reiterated their support for concrete actions that will contribute to the transformation of this community.
