SICT completes reconstruction of retaining wall and vehicle access in Acapulco, Guerrero / @SICT_mx >>>

#SICT.- The Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transportation (SICT), headed by Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, through the Guerrero SICT Center, completed the reconstruction of the retaining wall on Colegio Militar Street, km 0+650, in the municipality of Acapulco, Guerrero.

With an investment of 8.04 million pesos (MXN), excavation work, reinforced concrete wall construction, anchor installation, backfilling, paving, and signage were carried out. The wall had been damaged by Hurricanes Otis and John.

Reconstruction, foundation, and vehicular access work were also carried out on the bridge located on Palma Sola Street in Acapulco; the investment was 9.77 million MXN.

The Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transportation, in coordination with the Guerrero SICT Center, is continuing reconstruction efforts at 540 sites in the region.
