#Naucalpan, #Edoméx.- Four months into the Transformation Government, progress has been made on the main issues affecting all Naucalpan residents: security, public works, water, and public services, stated Mayor Isaac Montoya Márquez at the People’s Assembly in Santiago Tepatlaxco. He emphasized that we are moving forward with a government based on the ground, one that understands and addresses the problems of each region, both structurally and profoundly.

He spoke to residents of Santiago Tepatlaxco and other communities, «there is a firm conviction that we will be able to implement public works through the community works program of the La Comuna program.» This will allow us to move forward hand in hand with the residents.

He added that these sensitive demands will be addressed, but not arbitrarily, but rather through participatory budgeting, which includes a temporary employment program and, of course, community works.

The mayor, accompanied by various government departments and offices, held the People’s Assembly on the community’s soccer field. Addressing the community, he reaffirmed his commitment to visit the municipality’s various locations. Regarding the waterworks project, he confirmed that an unprecedented investment of more than 113 million pesos is being made.

He explained that the investment in public works will be more than 700 million pesos. In one year, they will accomplish what those who were previously unable to do in three years. This will involve applying efficient and austere use of public resources. To this end, Chapter 1000, the payroll, was consolidated. Those resources that were previously allocated to frivolous or less necessary issues will now be allocated to essential needs.

Montoya Márquez, in the town meetings, has informed the people of Naucalpan about the situation in which the municipality was received, not only the lack of equipment and patrols, but also the fact that there are only two ambulances in the entire municipality. Now it’s possible to say that nine ambulances are guaranteed to be able to better respond to any emergencies that may arise.
