#Celaya, #Gto.- Mayor Juan Miguel Ramírez was responsible for swearing in the new members of this council, made up of members of the City Council, directors of the municipal cabinet, and representatives of social sectors such as engineering associations, architects, and representatives of the Historic Center Trust.

This committee, reported the Director of Urban Development, Luis Martín González, is not merely a regulatory formality; it is a tool for coordination, technical dialogue, and strategic action, through which the city seeks to ensure that every intervention within the historic center respects its heritage value, promotes sustainable urban development, and strengthens the identity of the people of Celaya.

The mayor also addressed a message to the new members of this body to express his support and emphasize the importance of their collaboration.

“This technical committee, which begins today, will be an auxiliary body that will work closely with public institutions, civil society, and the private sector, with the goal of coordinating actions, research, and projects that allow for the modification, reconstruction, repair, restoration, and conservation of our listed and classified cultural heritage buildings. I am convinced that by working together, we can ensure that our historic center continues to be an example of conservation and sustainable development, respecting its past and paving the way for a future full of opportunities for all,” said Mayor Ramírez Sánchez.

A protest was later held, where the members of the Historic Center Technical Committee pledged to respect the laws and regulations and carry out work for the benefit of the people of Celaya.
